Let us take you on a journey as we demonstrate what it truly takes to create a truly remarkable personal resort, one that effortlessly embodies the essence of luxury and offers a warm invitation to relaxation, all within the inviting comfort of your own beautifully landscaped backyard.
Before photo Since this is a full makeover both sides of the home will be revamped this side will become our equipment area.
Before the other side is a bit tight, the plan is to remove that wall and constructing a new wall under the fence line expanding the usable space.
Before an overgrown backyard with a shade structure and fountain
Before a small patio and lawn area
Before overgrown, shaded and looking like a confined space.

Concept remove everything from both sides of the property and wipe the backyard clean. The design is for a full makeover to include a tropical personal resort playground with sunken kitchen, swim up bar, slide and waterfalls, upgraded decking and new fences and finally plantings

Concept overview of the plan

Concept taking advantage of every square inch to create a perfect family retreat

Our plan large tropical pool and spa, slide and cave with waterfall, sunning ledge and swim-up bar with a sunken kitchen. New retaining walls to expand the space and provide additional storage
Material selections travertine coping in a 5cm bullnose profile, travertine mosaic tile, and hand cut ledger stone pieces for the raised spa, bond beam and accent walls. Travertine pavers finish it off for the decking

Our material selections are added to the plan
Construction begins with removing everything.
All hardscape, walls and vegetation will be removed
In a short time you can start to see the space we have to work with
Cleaning all the debris takes time
getting our elevations
grading for our elevations
With everything removed the area is graded and we begin to layout the pool. The demo and pool excavation will take us 3-4 weeks.
The pool takes shape
Rebar installed this is typically a 2-day job for a project like this
work on the kitchen starts
Since space is limited this project is short stub what this means is the plumbing is kept just past the exterior of the pools walls and pressurized at that point. This phase is 3-5 days with this type of scenario. The pluming is completed after the shotcrete is installed and the pool can be backfilled freeing up more space so finish the install.
Inspections passed its onto shotcrete. This is a one day process
The crew hard at work making sure everything is secure and ready
The first of many cement trucks
The cove of the floor is shot first then the material is brought up the walls
The workers are masters at their professions and each has an area of expertise.
As the work progresses the pool takes shape
Shooting what will become the cave with waterfall. Working with a certified licensed crew the nozzle-man delivers well placed materials that will not fail.
Shooting materials on the exterior of the spa is a juggling act of precision
This build is nearing completion
The plumbing is installed to the equipment area
With the pool shell curing work begins on replacing the fencing
Materials have arrived

The Tiki motif is carried into our safety rails at the slide
The barstools and swim up bar came out amazing. The artists were able to make the bar front pool side look like bamboo and the bar rail and top as well. True artistry

Coloring of the features is underway
Our cave taking shape with a bit of color
With the ground work completed drains, and irrigation the paver install begins
